What to expect
I offer a warm, welcoming environment where you can be yourself and feel truly heard. With a background in anxiety, trauma, and drug rehabilitation, complemented by extensive life experience in team management, I bring both empathy and analytical insight to our sessions. My approach is hands-on and interactive; sometimes I’ll even use a whiteboard for visual clarity and will only take notes with your consent to ensure our conversations remain focused and dynamic.
My journey began in a head trauma unit in a U.S. teaching hospital, where I confronted life's most profound challenges—loss, recovery, and the spectrum of human resilience. This experience shaped my deep understanding of life's complexities and my commitment to supporting you with heart and authenticity.
Initially, my practice focused on anger management, where I learned that anger often masks deeper issues like loss, feeling unheard, or a lack of control. I don’t offer generic anger management courses but instead work with you individually to uncover and address the root causes, helping you feel lighter and more at ease.
As a blend of analytical and empathetic, I’m here to listen deeply, explore underlying issues, and guide you towards meaningful change.
Outside of sessions, I cherish time with my Golden Retriever, family, and photography. My goal is to provide a space where you feel valued and understood, ready to explore and grow in your own time.

My focus is to help you live your best life, however that looks to you.
I can help you find answers within yourself and new ways to change life patterns that aren’t working. Do you have past trauma affecting you today? Are you struggling with a loss? Or do you get angry easily, and want to control outbursts? Maybe you want to live out from under the shadow of anxiety, social or internal. Sometimes you might feel you can’t get out of bed in the morning and life feels hopeless. It isn’t.
We can work together for change.
I provide a safe and comfortable space to talk and be truly heard without judgement or blame. Once we unravel your life story, we can work with past trauma and the hold it might have on you. You’ll find new ways of coping. I help you shift ‘stuck’ thoughts of your life story that hurt, things that get in the way of being able to live the way you want to live.

To maintain safety and ethical standards, I work under the guidance of a clinical supervisor. I am also listed as a current member on the National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (PACFA) . I offer a hybrid therapy model with experience in a broad range of counselling styles.
