What to expect
Online counselling sessions are relaxed, conversational, and tailored to you with a warm, welcoming approach to be yourself and feel truly heard.
With experience supporting people through anxiety, trauma, and recovery, along with a background in leadership, I bring both empathy and analytical insight to our sessions. My approach is interactive — at times I may use simple visual sketches or examples so our conversations remain focused and present.
My journey began in a head trauma unit in a U.S. teaching hospital, where I witnessed firsthand the realities of loss, recovery, and human resilience. That experience shaped my understanding of life’s complexities and continues to inform the way I work today — with honesty, care, and respect for each person’s story.
I have worked extensively with anger and learned that it is often not the core issue, but a signal of something deeper — such as grief, feeling unheard, or a lack of control. Rather than offering generic anger management strategies, I work with you individually to understand what sits beneath the surface and help you find what’s at the core of the emotion.
I bring a balance of analytical thinking and empathy to my work. Together, we can explore what’s going on for you, uncover underlying patterns, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Outside of my work, I value time with my Golden Retriever, my family, and photography. Creating a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and understood is at the heart of everything I do.
My approach
My focus is to help you live your best life, however that looks to you.
I can help you find answers within yourself and new ways to change life patterns that aren’t working. Do you have past trauma affecting you today? Are you struggling with a loss? Or do you get angry easily, and want to control outbursts? Maybe you want to live out from under the shadow of anxiety, social or internal. Sometimes you might feel you can’t get out of bed in the morning and life feels hopeless.

I provide a safe and comfortable space to talk and be truly heard without judgement or blame. Once we unravel your life story, we can work with past trauma and the hold it might have on you. You’ll find new ways of coping. I help you shift ‘stuck’ thoughts of your life story that hurt, things that get in the way of being able to live the way you want to live.

No referral is required. You have complete confidentiality. I am open at times that work with you, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays.
To maintain safety and ethical standards, I work under the guidance of a clinical supervisor. I am also listed as a current member on the National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (PACFA) . I offer a hybrid therapy model with experience in a broad range of counselling styles. I find that the best results come from a flexible blending of techniques. Counselling modes I work with include, but are not limited to:

My therapy services are offered entirely online or over the phone, giving you the flexibility to attend sessions from anywhere—whether you're at home, at work, or traveling. No commuting, no waiting rooms, and no extra time out of your day.
Online therapy offers the same professional support and confidentiality as in-person sessions, with the added comfort of being in your own space. Many clients find it easier to open up in a familiar, private environment.
It’s also incredibly easy to use. You don’t need to be tech-savvy—just click the secure link I send you, and you’re in. If you can open an email, you can join a session. There's no special software to download and no complicated setup.
Or if you’re busy and on the go, I can work with you over the phone. It gives you a safe space and privacy to just be you.
